Guidance for Implementation of the Standards

The Guidance for Implementation for the Standards for Sexuality Education comprises a stepwise process for introducing new or improved existing school-based programmes for sexuality education. This publication refers to the Standards for Sexuality Education, based on a curriculum (see Figure 1 on page 18) as part of the model for the development of a sexuality education programme adapted to the respective national context, without the need to change the contents or principles. This document also contains elements for age-adapted curricula.
